“TEDx is an international event featuring some of the most powerful minds in the world on subjects that challenge our thinking and touch our hearts,” said speaker Thelma Wells. “To be a part of this worldwide arena is humbling and empowering.  We are very excited that three professionals represented by That a Girl & Friends Speakers Agency were selected to present.”

Thelma Wells will be among 15 other speakers at the event who will tie their message to the TEDWomen’s theme of “Invented Here”.  The TEDx conference is providing general guidelines for the independently-organized group of TurtleCreekWomen to hold a speaking event on different topics concerning women around the Turtle Creek area in Dallas and beyond. Thelma Wells gave more insight into what her speech was about, even revealing an acronym that was to be later explained at the event. “I will be speaking about the four letters E. Y. E. S. and relating them to the necessity of returning to the safe place of creating watching communities all over the world.”

Tammy Kling has a more personal message to deliver at this event. “I’m speaking about how words change lives,” said Kling. “The words you speak – can save someone’s life. Maybe even your own.”
